I just wanted to see what you guys will be wanting for Christmas. I am getting a yamaha Minny motif 6 keyboard, wires for my mixer, a new harddrive and a coupe of more things. So tell me what you are or what you want for Christmas.

A manga/rebetis, a bouzouki from the 30's, a 78 player with some records, a ticket to Greece... lol I'd like to be able to cook something, since that's one of my favourite things to do. I'd also like to finally get a decent cell phone and a really tiny laptop that I could carry around with me.

Post 8 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Saturday, 08-Dec-2007 12:33:37

Hmmm! Well, a retro spacehopper as I'm collecting all kinds of memories from my childhood days, for example, mum showed me the eye patch I wore when I had my Corneal graft, I'm still thinking of CDs and things I want to get with any Chrimbly money I receive from the family, I'd like as much alcolol as I can drink and as much chocolate as I can eat, a whole stash of bath stuff/toiletries, a bigger bottle this time of True Star perfume Etc Etc. As for the rest, I just wanna be surprised, lollol.

Post 16 by tear drop (No longer looking for a prince, merely a pauper with potential!!!!!) on Monday, 10-Dec-2007 11:27:48

What I wish for, for Christmas are not gifts and/or material possessions, but merely something that will last.....

Post 17 by SingerOfSongs (Heresy and apostasy is how progress is made.) on Monday, 10-Dec-2007 23:25:53

Hmm. I'll take all my bills being paid off. Beyond that, I want to replace the box that I used to use as a server til it died earlier this year. An external hard drive enclosure, and ... a USB bluetooth adapter. An accessible GPS system would be nice too. If we want to really go for fun, I'd like some travel money to see some friends in various parts of the country.
Wow, I actually have a bit of a list there. Usually when asked what I want for Christmas I can't think of anything.

Post 18 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Monday, 10-Dec-2007 23:50:37

That's the same with my brother, but when he says he doesn't want anything, it usually means he wants something. lol He'll just tell us about it when it's closer to Christmas.

Post 19 by Gilman Gal (A billy Gilman fan forever and always!!) on Friday, 14-Dec-2007 0:33:27

the number one thing I would like is a USB port keyboard for my dell laptop this keyboard sucks!!

Post 20 by singingsensation (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 14-Dec-2007 23:14:27

Hi,
You can usually get USB keyboards for a very low price. I got mine for $16 at Staples where I live. It's actually pretty good, and I can type better and faster and make fewer mistakes on it. Good luck finding one--email me or send mea a private quicknote on this site if you have any questions or want to know more.

Hmm Well I'm a very blessed person, don't get me wrong I'm not by any means some rich snob, but I have been blessed in other way very richly in everyday life. So the only thing I'm missing and would really like for christmas is a premium membership lol. I know it sounds like a very small thing to want but all the kids are taken care of including my child I send money to in africa and the food is all bought and bills are paid so I'm broke fat and happy lol. So if I could still fit on Santa's lap I would ask for premium membership. Hmm or maybe I would ask for peace on zone for one whole day. Wait that would mean there would be no one on zone never mind I'll stick with the premium wish lol. Cute topic may your christmas wishes all come true.

Post 22 by singingsensation (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 15-Dec-2007 18:19:54

I would also like to get a premium membership as well. That'd be great!!!

Post 30 by Jesse (Hmm!) on Friday, 21-Dec-2007 15:32:57

A Hammond B3 organ with a lesley cabinet.

Post 31 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Friday, 21-Dec-2007 17:46:57

I got loads better than that 8 years ago, funnily enough for a Christmas present. It was a Yamaha digital piano, full 8-octave keyboard, recording and multitracking facilities, it has its own stool and you could even get a free lesson on how to really make the best use of it in the instruction manual, but we never took advantage of it, as regretably, I was always away at School or College, but as I am almost, almost finished with College for good, I'll be home a lot more, finding a job and a social life and stuff, so I'll have a lot more opportunities to really get to know my piano again and hopefully, learn how to record and multitrack and save my compositions on to floppy disk, lollol. For now though, it stands in pride of place, on the lefthand wall as you come in through our dining room door.

Post 32 by Jesse (Hmm!) on Friday, 21-Dec-2007 17:54:21

Sorry. Nothing beats a Hammond.

Post 33 by Blondie McConfusion (Blah Blah Blah) on Saturday, 22-Dec-2007 5:12:44

Post 34 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Saturday, 22-Dec-2007 6:29:15

Sorry, but nothing beats the digital pianos of today either. You should see it. The most gorgeous, shiny polished wood finish and even has an integral music stand.
